Dr. Debora Duro is a Program Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital. She has extensive medical and academic qualifications, including an MD degree from PUC-RS in Brazil, clinical fellowship at Harvard-affiliated hospitals, and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from FIU. She is also certified in Plant-based Nutrition by Cornell University and holds a culinary chef coaching degree from Harvard Medical University. Additionally, she is an Associate Professor in Clinical Pediatrics at both FIU and NOVA and holds leadership positions at various medical associations.
She will be discussing and explaining plant-based nutrition benefits and will cook the lunch.
